Neither good or bad, <em>'Peter Pan & Wendy'</em> is rather average.
Peter Pan is admittedly a tale that, even as a kid, I never really clicked with. The two Disney animated flicks are films I'd consider as good, but even then I didn't really vibe with them all that much. I think it's because I find the story quite one-dimensional, there's never anything that I can sink my teeth into.
I do, though, like how this version mixes a few things up, particularly with Hook and Pan's backstory. As well as how Tinker Bell acts, I always found it a bit odd how she would be jealous of Wendy in the other pictures - her behaviour in this 2023 film does feel much more logical. So I do give credit to the filmmakers for these changes.
Those weren't enough for me to enjoy this, however. At least it's better than 1991's <em>'Hook'</em>. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
